Meet Victoria & Carol 🇧🇷
I first met Victoria and Carol in May 2023, just after leaving an island called Ilha Grande in the state of Rio de Janeiro. I was looking for a way back to the city, and we ended up on the same bus… and then sharing the same Uber. Victoria and I exchanged Instagrams — and at the time, I had no idea our paths would cross again 🚐
Fast forward to January 2024 — the pre-Carnival heat and rhythm pulsing through Rio — I found myself living in their community, a favela tucked somewhere between Lapa and Maracanã 🎭
From there, things unfolded naturally. Many of my friends came to visit, and we ended up sharing countless adventures, laughs, and unforgettable stories 🍹✨
In February 2025, I landed once again in Brazil… and again, more beautiful moments followed — the biggest one being this very journey to Europe and North Africa ✈️🌍
As of 2025, Victoria is 25 and Carol is 23. Neither of them has ever left Brazil — not even far from Rio, the city where they were born and raised. They work hard every day using their motorbikes, delivering goods or offering rides around the city 🛵💪 Their dream? It’s to travel — to see the world, live stories, and come back transformed ✨🌍🇧🇷
